A Trial Lesson Flight is a flight in a two-seater glider with a BGA-qualified instructor. You will receive a full ground briefing before the flight, which will enable you to take control of the glider during the flight, if you choose to.
You should talk to an instructor or other club member about this, and sign the appropriate Temporary Membership Application and Medical Disclaimer form, before you pay for the flight. Should unforeseen circumstances, most usually the weather, mean that we are unable to fly with you, your payment will be refunded in full.
A Member's Guest Flight applies to a somebody who is a guest of a full-flying member of the Club who is present at the time.
If the PayPal account is not in the name of the person who is flying with us, we'll need some more information in order to reconcile our flying logs. There are some constraints on the age, size, and health of the people we can fly with. The only considerations are for your safety and the safety of your instructor. If any of these apply to you, please read the relevant information. If you are in any doubt, please discuss it with your instructor.
