About PayPal
Select amounts that add up to the amount you want to pay into
your Club account, and click Add to Basket for each.
Whatever you select is added to a PayPal Shopping Cart, and PayPal
opens a new browser window listing what you have selected so far. You can
switch back to the Stratford Gliding Club page to select another item,
or use the PayPal Checkout button to pay.
When you have done that, click View Basket to check what you
have selected. This takes you to the PayPal Shopping Cart, where the total
payable should match your account payment. Alternatively, just open the
relevant browser window if you still have it.
PayPal will charge you a "Postage Charge" which in fact is a surcharge to cover PayPal's transaction fee of 3.4%. If you wish to avoid this surcharge, pay by cheque or cash.
Once you're happy with the result, click PayPal's Checkout button to complete the payment.
On PayPal's payment confirmation page, there is a link entitled Membership Number, and clicking this link opens an entry box. Please put your membership number in that box.
