The day will start with a full briefing on safety, the glider controls, and what to expect during the each flight. The lessons are tailored to the individual, and suit any level of experience. Flight duration depends entirely on the conditions of the day and there will be a minimum of five flights or 75 minutes in the air.
You will also be entitled to three months membership of our club. You may then return, if you wish, and take more flights at club rates, under the same system as all other club members.
One-Day courses must be booked in advance, and will be held on a mutually convenient date. One-day courses are only available during the week, Monday to Friday. If you are buying a voucher as a gift, we need to know who it is for, because the vouchers are personalised, and it also helps if we know the name when it comes to arranging the course. On PayPal's payment confirmation page, there is a link entitled Who is the voucher for? and clicking this link opens an entry box. Please tell us by entering the name in that box.
There are some constraints on the age, size, and health of the people we can fly with. The only considerations are for your safety and the safety of your instructor.
