One of the pubs that we congregate in after a day's flying is the
Snitterfield Arms, one of several good pubs in the
the area. They serve good beer and good food, and they
don't mind too much when the discussion gets a bit boisterous
over, say, how Phil Pickett in a Capstan managed to beat
two LS8 drivers to the top of the 1997 Club ladder.
(The answer is, he cheated: sometimes he flew his Dart 17 instead.)
Here's a detailed map of how to get to the pub from the
airfield...
Turn right out of the gate. It's on the right.
This is what it looks like when you get there.
