One of the pubs that we congregate in after a day's flying is the Snitterfield Arms, one of several good pubs in the the area. They serve good beer and good food, and they don't mind too much when the discussion gets a bit boisterous over, say, how Phil Pickett in a Capstan managed to beat two LS8 drivers to the top of the 1997 Club ladder. (The answer is, he cheated: sometimes he flew his Dart 17 instead.)
